February 27, 2010 - NaBlue Co-Captain Brian Sjostedt Shaves Head in Support of St. Baldrick's

Raleigh, NC nablue Co-Captain Brian Sjostedt shaved his head as hundreads watched at the Hibernian Pub on Saturday afternoon in Raleigh. The event's goal was $200,000 in which Raleigh exceeded at $206,000. The event marked Raleigh as the second largest supporter of St. Baldricks in the world. Bridgeport, Connecticut raised just over $350,000 for childhood cancer research this year. Over 12 Million Dollars was raised worldwide in 2009.

Sjostedt's made the decision to shave his head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment. "I'm not crazy about having a new look, but raising critical funds for childhood cancer research motivates me to help in any way I can," stated Sjostedt
